I went back to Maryland last week to hang out with my parents before the holiday rush. While I was there, I decided to get out to our nation's capital and check out its latest tribute, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial!  He was the man, in case you hadn't heard.  Respect.

After that, we went to the National Arboretum and checked up on the bonsai garden.  I went there as a kid decades ago, so it's wild to see some of the exact same bonsai trees still there.
